Overview: Perched on the espectacular coast of North Down, Donaghadee Golf Club is a mature and highly highly regarded parkland course with distinct coastal characteristics. Established in 1899, the layout is celebrated for its technical, undulating terrain and its spectacular panoramic views across the Irish Sea. Characterized by its narrow fairways and its Exceptionally fast putting surfaces, Donaghadee offers a classic "thinking man's" test in the shadows of the South's historic lighthouse.
Did You Know? The course is particularly famous for its exceptional natural drainage and its unhurried, traditional atmosphere. Over its century-long history, the club has preserved its 1899 roots while evolving into a modern championship venue, and it is widely regarded as one of the best-conditioned and most technically demanding "short" parkland layouts in the Northeast of Ulster.
