Desert Princess Country Club (Los Lagos/Cielo)

Overview: The Los Lagos/Cielo routing at Desert Princess Country Club combines two parts of the property’s 27-hole facility in Cathedral City. The club describes Los Lagos as the original nine and Cielo as one of the later loops, with desert landscaping, water features and mountain views shaping a par-72 combination of about 6,111 yards.

History: Desert Princess is organized as three nines, Los Lagos, Vista and Cielo, rather than as one fixed 18-hole course. That distinction matters when reading scorecards: the Los Lagos/Cielo combination is a separate routing from the club’s other two 18-hole rotations, and the current club presents all three nines together as its golf facility.

Did You Know? The three nines can be combined in different pairs, so Desert Princess has more than one legitimate 18-hole scorecard. Los Lagos/Cielo is one of those published combinations, with the name identifying the exact loop rather than a marketing variation on the club name.
