Deer Creek Country Club

Overview: Set in southeast Jacksonville, Deer Creek Country Club centers on Robert Miller’s private 18-hole course. The club describes a natural setting with six tee choices, water on several holes, and a course length just over 6,600 yards; the directory record lists about 6,702 yards and par 71.

History: Deercreek was established in 1989 as part of a residential country-club community. The club has since invested in practice facilities, short-game areas, bunkers, and range improvements while maintaining the course as the centerpiece of the property.

Did You Know? The course uses six tee selections. That is a broader tee menu than many private community layouts and helps explain why the club presents the course as suitable for different playing abilities.
