Overview: Dallas National Golf Club is a private Tom Fazio course south of Dallas. The layout uses limestone canyons, streams, open plateaus, and roughly 160 feet of elevation change to create a varied sequence without residential development lining the fairways.
History: The course opened on August 30, 2002. Fazio's design keeps the holes connected to the natural ravines and plateaus, while the property was developed as a golf club rather than as a housing subdivision.
Did You Know? The ninth through fourteenth holes move through limestone canyon country. That central run gives the course a noticeably different character from the more open holes and is one reason the routing feels larger than its distance from downtown Dallas.
