Overview: The Aspendos Course is one of the two 18-hole layouts at Cullinan Links Golf Club in Belek, where the Beşgöz River meets the Mediterranean coast. European Golf Design created the resort's 36-hole project across 110 hectares, using elevated tees, pine trees, lakes and broad natural corridors to give the course a strong sense of place. The directory records par 71 and approximately 6,460 yards. Aspendos is the more compact of the two principal courses and its back nine is floodlit, adding a distinctive night-golf dimension to a resort course already shaped by the river, sea and Taurus Mountains.
History: Cullinan Links was developed as a major reconstruction of the earlier golf property at Belek. The 36-hole project was officially opened in October 2021, with Aspendos and Olympos as separate 18-hole courses designed by European Golf Design. The new facility brought together golf, hotel and landscape development while retaining the area's coastal pine setting. Aspendos was given a name connected to the ancient city of Aspendos, one of Antalya's most important archaeological sites, so the course's identity is tied to the region's history as well as its resort landscape.
Did You Know? The back nine of Aspendos is floodlit, making it possible to play a nine-hole daytime and nine-hole evening combination. That arrangement is unusual among full-size European courses and is especially practical in Belek's hot summer climate. It also changes the visual character of the same routing as daylight gives way to artificial light around the lakes, pines and elevated greens.
