Overview: Crooked Tree Golf Course is a fun and accessible public course in Tucson that offers a unique challenge with its tight fairways and strategic layout. Designed by Lee Trevino and Dave Bennett and opened in 1975, the course was built on the site of a former citrus grove, and many of the mature trees still line the fairways today. The par-72 routing requires precision and accurate ball-striking, as the narrow landing areas and small greens can be unforgiving. It provides a more traditional, "old-school" golf experience compared to the sprawling desert courses in the area.
Did You Know? The course was co-designed by golf legend Lee Trevino, whose influence is seen in the requirement for shot-shaping and creative play to navigate the tree-lined fairways and tricky green complexes.
