Overview: Craibstone Golf Centre is a modern and highly resilient parkland course situated on the western edge of Aberdeen, near Bucksburn. Originally developed by the Scottish Agricultural College in the late 1990s, the 18-hole course is set within a maturing landscape of gently rolling terrain and dense pockets of timber. The course is widely recognized for its exceptional drainage and irrigation systems, which allow it to remain in peak playable condition throughout most of the challenging Scottish winter, making it a year-round favorite for golfers across the North East.
Did You Know? Since its acquisition by Marshall Leisure in 2011, Craibstone has seen significant investment in its infrastructure, including the development of the popular Brimmond Bistro. The course provides a particularly scenic vantage point for aviation enthusiasts due to its proximity to Aberdeen International Airport, while its location just off the AWPR bypass makes it one of the most accessible and consistently reliable inland venues in the region.
