Overview: Coyote Preserve Golf Club is a public Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay design in Fenton, Michigan. The par-71 layout uses wooded corridors, wetlands, and rolling ground to create an up-north feel near the Detroit area. Just over 6,900 yards from the back tees, it offers a substantial test while retaining several teeing options for different playing abilities.
History: The Preserve course opened in 2001 as an Arnold Palmer Signature project. Its identity is closely tied to the surrounding preserve setting, where natural areas and wetland corridors are part of the routing rather than simply background scenery. The course remains a daily-fee golf destination with the Palmer design name at its center.
Did You Know? Coyote Preserve is one of the Arnold Palmer Design projects credited with a collaboration between Palmer and Ed Seay. That partnership is reflected in the course’s published design references, while the preserve setting supplies the name and much of the visual character.
