Overview: Lake/Pine is the second documented 18-hole combination at Clearwater’s Countryside Country Club. It joins two of the club’s three 9-hole loops, giving the private 27-hole facility a route with its own scorecard identity while sharing the same Florida parkland setting.
History: The complex is dated to 1977 in the available course database, with Larry Packard credited for the original layout and Gary Player associated with later work. That shared history applies to the facility as a whole and is not presented as a separate opening date for the Lake/Pine route.
Did You Know? Pine is not simply a back-nine label at Countryside. It is one of three independent nines that can be combined with Lake or Bayhead to make an 18-hole round.
