Overview: Country Club of Vermont sits in a Green Mountain valley at Waterbury Center. Graham Cooke's course changes character between an open, links-influenced front nine and a wooded, hillier back nine, with mountain views and native fescues framing the playing corridors.
History: The member-owned club and its eighteen-hole course date to 1998. Graham Cooke designed the layout around the Worcester and Mansfield mountain ranges, and later development added facilities while keeping the golf course tied to the valley.
Did You Know? The club's Couching Lion Invitational is named for the nearby landscape. The property has also hosted the Vermont men's and women's amateur championships.
