Overview: Orangeburg Country Club is an Ellis Maples design in South Carolina, set among pines and views toward the Edisto River. Its par-72 routing balances a full championship scale with the traditional green complexes and approachable lines associated with Maples’ regional work.
History: Ellis Maples built the course in 1961, and Richard Mandell led a major renovation in 2009. The project updated tees, fairways and bunkers while retaining the identity of the original Maples design.
Did You Know? The 18th hole is a 615-yard closing hole, a distinctive feature highlighted by the club in its description of the course.
