Overview: The Country Club of Charleston is a historic Seth Raynor course on the South Carolina coast. Its classic routing, template holes, tidal landscape and precise green complexes reflect Raynor's approach while retaining a distinctly Charleston setting.
History: The club's golf history reaches back to an 18th-century golf society, but the present course was laid out and built by Seth Raynor between 1923 and 1925. Later restoration work by John LaFoy, Brian Silva and Kyle Franz has helped preserve the design's strategic character.
Did You Know? The 11th is a North Berwick Redan, and the course hosted the 2019 U.S. Women's Open.
