Overview: Country Club at Lake City is an 18-hole championship course set among mature oaks in north-central Florida. Willard Byrd’s design is presented as a par-72 layout, with tree-lined corridors and a traditional country-club setting.
History: The club’s tournament record includes Hogan Tour events in 1990 and 1991, a PGA Tour Qualifying School event in 1996, and other senior and qualifying competitions. Those events form the clearest documented part of the course’s sporting history.
Did You Know? Lake City’s course has hosted more than one level of professional qualifying golf. The Hogan Tour and PGA Tour School references place this local course in a wider competitive story.
