Overview: CordeValle Golf Club is a resort course situated in the rolling hills of San Martin, California, just south of Silicon Valley. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the layout meanders through a landscape of oaks, sycamores, and seasonal creeks. The course features wide fairways, large bunkers, and multi-tiered greens that provide a test for resort guests and tournament players alike.
History: Opened in 1999, CordeValle was built as a luxury golf destination. The course hosted the PGA Tour's Frys.com Open from 2010 to 2013, as well as the U.S. Women's Open in 2016, won by Brittany Lang. The facility continues to rank as one of the best resort destinations in Northern California.
Did You Know? The course features an active, on-site vineyard that produces estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay served directly in the clubhouse. Players can view the grapevines lining the fairways on several holes, adding a unique California wine country touch that sets this championship venue apart from other courses in the region.
