Overview: Cooper Colony is an 18-hole executive course in the heart of Cooper City. Pat Pattison’s compact parkland layout measures about 3,820 yards and is designed for a quick round, with the facility also providing a lighted range, putting and chipping areas, and an on-site restaurant.
History: Course databases date the Pat Pattison design to 1959. The current operator presents Cooper Colony as an open, dawn-to-dusk executive course with no tee-time requirement, while continuing to serve both beginners and experienced golfers in the same South Florida neighborhood setting.
Did You Know? Cooper Colony promotes a three-hour round as part of its identity. The facility’s 18-hole par-60 routing is therefore a different proposition from a full-length championship course, even though it still uses a conventional 18-hole scorecard.
