Overview: The Macan Course at Columbia Edgewater is an A.V. Macan design on the flat, tree-lined ground beside the Columbia River in Portland. Its 18 holes are defined by positional fairways, carefully placed bunkers and a classic green-scale that rewards controlled angles.
History: Columbia Edgewater was founded in 1925 and the Macan Course opened that July. The club has remained an important Oregon championship venue, with later improvements preserving the character of Macan's original routing.
Did You Know? The course has hosted the LPGA Portland Classic for decades, giving this historic layout a long-running connection to top-level women's professional golf.
