Overview: Colorado Golf Club is a private Coore and Crenshaw design in Parker, laid across open meadowland with sandy waste areas, native grasses and broad strategic horizons. The course relies on natural contours and creative ground options, producing a modern inland-links feel rather than a heavily planted parkland experience.
History: The course had a soft opening in September 2006 and is commonly dated to 2007. Coore and Crenshaw selected a site where minimal earthmoving could preserve the existing landforms, creating a championship layout whose character comes from the ground itself.
Did You Know? Colorado Golf Club hosted the 2010 Senior PGA Championship and the 2019 U.S. Mid-Amateur. The course's large sandy areas are strategic features, not simply visual hazards, and they help give the layout its distinctive Colorado identity.
