Overview: Collier’s Reserve is a private Arthur Hills course on 450 acres along the Cocohatchee River in Naples. The layout is integrated with wetlands and wildlife habitat, giving the course a preserve-centered character rather than a heavily built resort setting.
History: Barron Gift Collier acquired the land in 1923, and the community developed into a private residential country club in the early 1990s. The club officially opened its 18-hole Hills-designed course in 1993 and later transferred ownership to its members and residents in 2001.
Did You Know? Collier’s Reserve describes itself as home to the world’s first Audubon Signature Sanctuary. The designation reflects the course’s setting among wetlands and wildlife habitat along the Cocohatchee River.
