Overview: Cog Hill's No. 4, known as Dubsdread, is a public parkland championship course in Lemont, Illinois. Dick Wilson and Joe Lee's 7,554-yard routing relies on tight landing areas, deep bunkering, and large undulating greens to make shot-making central to the round.
History: Course No. 4 opened in 1964 as Joe Jemsek's answer to the need for a public course with country-club-level ambition. Rees Jones later redesigned the layout in 2008, while Cog Hill continued to host PGA Tour and USGA events.
Did You Know? The name Dubsdread comes from the idea that a “dub,” or poor golfer, should beware of the challenges ahead.
