Did You Know? Olazábal designed the course to be a "Return to the Ground Game," utilizing the region's prevailing north winds as a primary structural hazard. During its construction, over 2 million cubic meters of earth were moved to create its iconic "Elevated Greens," ensuring that the course remain a national leader in modern technical design while preserving the wild soul of the Castilian plateau.
