Overview: Clover Greens Golf Course is an 18-hole course on the Bengaluru golf-travel corridor, off the Sarjapur-Attibele road near the city's southeastern edge. The current operator lists par 71 and 6,703 yards, and credits Phil Ryan of Pacific Coast Design with the design. Pine-fringed fairways, lakes and a large natural rock outcrop give the course a distinctive visual frame, while the resort setting and practice facilities make it approachable for both first-time players and regular golfers. Its position outside the dense city makes it a practical day-trip course for Bengaluru.
History: The course was developed as part of the Clover Greens golf and residential project and became an established golfing venue in the late 2000s. One Indian golf course guide records operations beginning in 2009, while another historical course profile gives 2008, so no single opening year is asserted here. The design credit is more consistent: Phil Ryan and Pacific Coast Design are named by the operator and supporting course material. By 2012, Clover Greens was hosting a leg of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour, evidence that the full 18-hole venue was already active in organised competition.
Did You Know? A massive rock outcrop runs through part of the Clover Greens property and is incorporated into the golf landscape rather than hidden or removed. The operator also highlights rainwater harvesting and an interconnected irrigation lake, making water management part of the course's design story as well as its visual character.
