Overview: Snake River Sporting Club is a private mountain course south of Jackson, Wyoming, where Tom Weiskopf routed eighteen holes through forest, river-valley clearings and native grasses. The layout follows natural swales of the Snake River region, with the Tetons and Bridger-Teton landscape forming the wider setting.
History: The club opened in 2006 with a Tom Weiskopf-designed course, and the layout was recognized as a new private course in 2007. Its development grew from a large sporting property where golf sits alongside fishing, riding and other outdoor activities.
Did You Know? The course measures more than 7,500 yards from the tips and uses tall native grass to outline all eighteen holes. The Snake River is near the course, while the holes move through the adjacent canyon and valley.
