Overview: Circolo Golf Villa Paradiso is an 18-hole Championship course in the Parco dell’Adda, about twenty minutes from Milan and Bergamo. Franco Piras designed the layout across the landscape between the Adda River and a wooded hill. The current federation profile gives par 72 and 6,612 metres, approximately 7,230 yards, with five tee positions at each hole. Five strategically placed lakes, bunkers and changing ground give the course a technical character, while the adjacent nine-hole par-3 Executive course provides a separate shorter option.
History: Public sources disagree slightly on the opening date of the 18-hole course. The regional Italian Golf Federation profile records an inauguration in 2001, while the current club page states 2002. Both sources agree on Franco Piras, the Championship identity and the Adda Park setting, so the opening-year field remains null until that one-year discrepancy can be resolved. The club has been managed by the Colombo Group since November 2019 and continues to publish current 2026 visitor tariffs for the Championship course.
Did You Know? The course sits near Crespi d’Adda, the former workers’ village that is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, linking a modern golf visit with one of the region’s most distinctive industrial-heritage landscapes. On the course itself, the five lakes are not decorative background: the federation describes them as strategic hazards within a Championship design that can still be played from five different teeing positions.
