Overview: Located within the historic royal park of La Mandria near Turin, Circolo Golf Torino's Percorso Blu is a magnificent, championship-standard parkland course. Designed by John Morrison, the layout winds through an ancient forest of oaks, birches, and pines, featuring flat but highly strategic fairways protected by mature trees and strategically placed water hazards. The small, exceptionally fast greens and classic bunkers demand ultimate precision and strategic play from tee to green.
History: Established in 1924, the club moved to its spectacular current location within the former royal estate in 1956, commissioning John Morrison to design their new courses, which were later refined by Graham Cooke. The Percorso Blu has served as a prominent championship venue, most notably playing host to the Italian Open in 1999, 2013, and 2014, showcasing many of the world's best players.
Did You Know? The course is set within a completely walled, historic royal hunting ground, and players will often spot native deer, wild boars, and rare birds roaming the pristine, silent forest corridors during their round.
