Overview: Cherry Hills Golf Course is the Sun City, California entry associated with 26583 Cherry Hills Boulevard. Published course records describe an 18-hole, par-72 layout of about 6,908 yards, with Milton Coggins credited as architect. Because current listings disagree about operating status, this profile keeps the confirmed historical identity separate from any assumption that tee times are presently available.
History: Course listings place the layout in the early 1960s and credit Milton Coggins with the design. A separate current profile gives a later founding date, while another map listing marks the property closed. The evidence supports the Coggins attribution and 1963 date as the working course record, but the status conflict should remain visible for future directory reconciliation.
Did You Know? Cherry Hills is a useful example of why a directory name needs an identity check before a polished profile is published. A current company profile still names Cherry Hills Golf Course in Sun City, while other online records preserve older course data. Those sources point to the same named facility but do not agree on its present condition.
