Overview: Chateraise Vintage Golf Club sits on the high ground around Hokuto at the foot of the Yatsugatake area, where open views and a large property give the holes room to breathe. The 18-hole course measures 6,859 yards at par 72 and was shaped by Shunsuke Kato, with supervision from Seiichi Kanai and Kaeko Ikoma.
History: Chateraise Vintage began play in 1994. Chateraise Vintage opened on 23 July 1994. The club's published facts retain the original design credit and describe a 1.06-million-square-metre property, a scale that helps explain the spacious feel of the route. Its current identity combines a highland landscape with a resort-oriented golf operation.
Did You Know? The course sits high enough for the surrounding Yamanashi mountains to become part of the visual sequence rather than a distant backdrop. On clear days the views reach toward Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps and Mount Fuji, giving otherwise quiet holes a strong sense of place. The highland setting is reinforced by a single bent green and the broad scale of the property, so the course reads as a resort layout without losing its championship yardage.
