Overview: Located in Nivelles, Belgium, the Anglais (English) Course at Château de la Tournette is an 18-hole parkland course designed by Martin Hawtree. Winding through a gently rolling landscape, the layout features wide fairways framed by native tall grasses, deep, steep-faced pot bunkers, and large, highly contoured green complexes. The course is designed to emulate a traditional British inland links, demanding creative ground-game shots and strategic navigation of the penal bunkering.
History: Opened in 1988 alongside the Américain Course, the Anglais Course was built to provide a distinct architectural contrast within the luxury 36-hole resort complex. Hawtree sculpted the open terrain to create a strategic, firm-and-fast layout that has hosted numerous Belgian amateur championships.
Did You Know? The club's spectacular clubhouse is housed within a beautifully restored 16th-century château. This historic estate features classic slate roofs, a cobblestone courtyard, and a highly traditional, atmospheric dining room.
