Overview: The Jackrabbit Course at Champions Golf Club is a private Houston layout originally designed by George Fazio. Its narrower fairways, smaller greens and deeper bunkers give it a different playing character from the club's older Cypress Creek Course.
History: Jackrabbit opened for play in 1964 as the second course at Champions Golf Club. George Fazio's routing was later renovated by his nephew Tom Fazio in 2002, with the original strategy and routing retained as the foundation.
Did You Know? The official club history lists Jackrabbit at 7,018 yards and par 71. The course was built as a companion to the Ralph Plummer-designed Cypress Creek course, not as a replacement for it.
