Overview: Cedar Hammock is a private 18-hole course in Naples, designed by Jed Azinger and Gordon Lewis and later redesigned by Kipp Schulties. The club lists 6,680 yards and par 72, with lakes, wetlands, wildlife corridors, and water on seventeen of the eighteen holes.
History: The Cedar Hammock community was developed by US Home beginning around 2000, and course references date the golf course to that development period. Schulties carried out a major redesign in 2014, giving the community course a refreshed playing strategy while retaining its natural setting.
Did You Know? More than half of the site is dedicated to lakes, wetlands, and wildlife corridors. Cedar Hammock’s water is therefore not decoration around a golf course; it is part of the community plan and affects nearly every hole.
