Overview: Castleisland Golf Course is a scenic and inviting parkland layout situated in the rolling hills of County Kerry. Designed by the local golf architect Dr. Arthur Spring and opened in 1993, the course is built on a natural limestone base which ensures excellent drainage and playability throughout the year. The layout is characterized by its wide fairways and panoramic views of the MacGillycuddy's Reeks, offering a peaceful and authentically West of Ireland round among natural streams and mature hedgerows.
Did You Know? The course is a haven for local wildlife, and the club has gone to great lengths to preserve the natural flora of the Kerry countryside. The limestone terrain not only provides a firm playing surface but also supports a unique variety of wild orchids and other rare plants that can be seen bordering the fairways during the summer months.
