Overview: Designed by former Open Champion Darren Clarke, Castle Dargan is a spectacular championship parkland layout set on a 170-acre historic estate in County Sligo. Opened in 2006, the course is famous for its "signatures" stone walls and its integration with the ancient woodland of the Ballygawley region. Characterized by its significant water hazards and its immaculate resort conditioning, Castle Dargan offers a world-class test of strategic golf across rolling, atmospheric fairways.
Did You Know? The course is situated on a site with deep historical roots and features the ruins of an 18th-century castle on the fairways. Its design was built to provide a "PGA-standard" challenge, featured by its intricate water hazards and its spectacular finishing stretch back towards a grand, contemporary hotel and clubhouse complex that captures the expansive beauty of the Northwest landscape.
