Overview: Card Sound Golf Club is an invitation-only private course within Ocean Reef in Key Largo. Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin designed the original routing, which is described as more than 6,500 yards through a tropical setting near Card Sound.
History: The course was designed in 1974 and later renovated in 2015 by Andrew Green. That sequence is important because the current course combines the original von Hagge and Devlin identity with later work to the playing surfaces and layout details.
Did You Know? Andrew Green's 2015 renovation is the main recent chapter in Card Sound's playing history. It updated the original von Hagge and Devlin routing while keeping the tropical setting and Ocean Reef identity intact.
