Overview: Canyon River Golf Club is a Schmidt-Curley design in East Missoula, where mountain views and the Clark Fork River define a parkland setting. The par-72 course measures 6,966 yards and uses the natural terrain to create a varied round close to the city without losing its sense of open western landscape.
History: Canyon River opened for play in July 2006. The Schmidt-Curley Golf Design company created the course around the river and surrounding mountains, and it quickly became one of Montana's better-known golf destinations.
Did You Know? The course is in East Missoula, with the Clark Fork River and mountain views forming two of its most recognizable geographic references.
