Overview: Established in 1897 and situated at the foot of the magnificent Campsie Fells, Campsie Golf Club is a scenic and technical 18-hole course in East Dunbartonshire. The original nine-hole layout was designed by the Open Champion Willie Auchterlonie, and the course has since evolved into a robust challenge that makes expert use of the undulating hillside terrain. The layout is characterized by its lush fairways, natural rocky outcrops, and panoramic views that extend across the Kelvin Valley toward Glasgow. With its elevated position and exposure to the elements, Campsie offers a raw and invigorating round that rewards strategic play and creative shot-shaping.
Did You Know? The club is famous for its vibrant community atmosphere and its exceptionally well-maintained greens. The "Auchterlonie" influence is still palpable in the subtle routing and natural green sites that define the earlier holes of the course.
