Caloosa Golf & Country Club

Overview: Caloosa Golf & Country Club is a member-owned private club in Sun City Center with an 18-hole Ron Garl layout. Golf Digest lists the course at 6,388 yards, while the tree-lined, water-shaped routing fits the established residential character of the community.

History: The club’s Florida corporate record dates to 1979, and matching course references describe the Caloosa layout as opened that year. Caloosa has remained a private club within Sun City Center, with the course forming one part of a broader community golf landscape.

Did You Know? A current Sun City Center golf guide describes Caloosa as a four-loop layout rather than a conventional single front-nine/back-nine facility. That gives the club more routing flexibility than its basic 18-hole directory label suggests.
