Overview: Roost is an 18-hole course at Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, with the official course page listing 7,543 yards. Kyle Franz and Mike Nuzzo led the design, Rod Whitman shaped the greens, and the routing uses old Florida landforms, sandy ground, and a large sinkhole as part of its natural setting.
History: The course officially opened in January 2025 on land formerly associated with Rolling Oaks. The design team included Ran Morrissett as an adviser, and the project developed the first completed golf routing at the new Cabot destination in Florida.
Did You Know? The name Roost connects with the property's Osceola turkey habitat. A roughly 40-foot sinkhole is also incorporated into the course landscape, giving the routing a specific geological feature rather than an entirely manufactured setting.
