Overview: Set in the lush Slaney Valley on the borders of Wexford and Carlow, Bunclody is a spectacular modern championship course built on a grand scale. Designed by Jeff Howes and opened in 2009, the layout is famous for its "dual-personality" character: the lower holes play along the river, while the upper holes climb into dense ancient woodland. Characterized by its pristine conditioning and significant elevation changes, Bunclody offers a varied and visually grand round of contemporary parkland golf.
Did You Know? The course is unique in Ireland for featuring a dedicated on-site elevator that transports golfers up a steep limestone cliff to the final fairways. Its signature back-nine holes, which play directly among the mature oaks of the Hall-Dare estate and along the banks of the River Slaney, have quickly established Bunclody as one of the premier tournament and visitor destinations in the Southeast region.
