Overview: BRG Legend Hill Golf Resort sits in the hills of Soc Son, north of Hanoi, and is built around one of golf’s more unusual routing ideas. Nicklaus Design created an 18-hole course with two green targets on every hole, so the Legends configuration is not simply a conventional layout with a second set of tees. The course is listed at par 72 and 7,068 yards, with elevation, wooded slopes and shaped hazards giving the round a distinctly inland Vietnamese character. Choosing the correct approach line matters twice: first for the hole, then for the particular green configuration being played.
History: Legend Hill opened in 2015 and was presented by BRG and Nicklaus Design as the first Nicklaus course in Vietnam. Its twin-green concept was also promoted as a first for Vietnam and Asia, creating 36 playable green combinations across 18 holes. The directory contains both Legends and Masters labels, but current official course material treats them as alternate green configurations of this one 18-hole routing. This profile uses Legends as the canonical record and keeps the duplicate-style Masters row out of the enrichment batch.
Did You Know? The twin-green idea changes the meaning of repetition. A return visit can use the other target on a hole and alter the preferred line, the visual angle and the putting surface without requiring a completely different course. Legend Hill’s setting adds another layer: the layout is close to Soc Temple and the Soc Son hills, so the course’s identity comes as much from its terrain and changing outlook as from the Nicklaus name on the scorecard.
