Overview: The Kings Course at BRG Kings Island Golf Resort is a Jack Nicklaus II design at Dong Mo, west of Hanoi. Its wooded outward half contrasts with a water-laden inward half, and the course combines broad fairways, bold bunkering, large contoured greens and several risk-and-reward decisions. The published 18-hole layout measures 7,268 yards from the back tees and is part of a larger resort reached by boat across the Dong Mo reservoir.
History: Kings was unveiled in 2018 as the newest course at BRG Kings Island, following the Lakeside course in 1993 and Mountainview in 2004. The resort's development brief for the new course was announced in 2016, with Jack Nicklaus II appointed to create the Kings layout. The result added a championship-focused, water-influenced course to one of northern Vietnam's established golf destinations.
Did You Know? Top100 Golf Courses describes an additional 19th hole: a par three played from above a rock waterfall to an island green beside the clubhouse. It is a distinctive extra-hole feature, while the directory listing and the structured course data here retain the standard 18-hole Kings Course and its par-72 scorecard.
