Breitenloo Golf Club

Overview: Located in a quiet, rolling landscape just north of Zurich, Breitenloo Golf Club is a private parkland course originally designed by Donald Harradine and Frank Pennink. The layout is set within a mature estate featuring majestic trees, natural water hazards, and contoured green complexes. The course demands strategic tee shots to navigate the tree-lined corridors and precise approach angles to reach the well-guarded greens.

History: Founded in 1964 as a nine-hole course, Breitenloo was expanded to a full 18 holes by 1971, serving as a peaceful retreat for the regional business community. Between 2004 and 2005, the course underwent a comprehensive modernization by architect Kurt Rossknecht, who redesigned the greens and bunkers to modern standards while preserving its classic parkland character.
