Overview: Brasstown Valley Resort’s championship course is a public mountain course near Young Harris, Georgia. Denis Griffiths designed the routing to work with the existing terrain, blending rolling fairways, woodland and mountain scenery into a resort layout that feels shaped by its setting.

History: The course was planned as part of Brasstown Valley Resort and its golf identity is closely tied to the natural character of the North Georgia landscape. Griffiths’s design approach emphasized fitting the holes into the land rather than imposing a flat, manufactured routing.

Did You Know? Brasstown Valley sits in the Blue Ridge foothills, so the mountain backdrop is not a decorative addition to the course. It is the geographic framework that gives the resort its distinctive golf setting.
