Bountiful Ridge Golf Course

Overview: Bountiful Ridge is a public mountain course in Bountiful, Utah, climbing through oak and foothill terrain north of Salt Lake City. The course is an eighteen-hole, par-71 layout, with the blue tees measuring 6,518 yards and the changing elevation supplying much of the character.

History: The course was designed under the direction of Utah architect William H. Neff and became part of Bountiful’s public golf program. Its routing follows the foothills rather than a flat urban grid, giving the city-owned facility a strong sense of place.

Did You Know? The finishing hole is a prominent elevation-change hole, with the course’s oak-covered terrain visible as the round climbs toward the clubhouse. Bountiful Ridge is also a useful example of a public Utah course where the landscape supplies the drama without a resort setting.
