Overview: Boulder Creek Golf Club is a public championship course in Streetsboro, Ohio, created by owner and architect Joe Salemi. Its rolling terrain, large greens, substantial elevation change and dramatic water features give the course a strong visual identity.
History: Salemi developed the 325-acre property himself, studying classic golf architecture and working with a small construction team. Nine holes opened in June 2002 and the full 18 was ready for play later that summer.
Did You Know? Boulder Creek was built without a conventional outside golf architect or large construction company. Its creator-owner learned from the design traditions of Ross, Tillinghast, MacKenzie and Dye before routing the course himself.
