Bothwell Castle Golf Course

Overview: Established in 1922 and located in the heart of South Lanarkshire, Bothwell Castle Golf Course is a premier private parkland course set within the historic grounds of the former Bothwell Castle estate. The original 18-hole layout was created by Glasgow architect Mr. Adams and later refined with several replacement holes designed by F.T. Lyon in the 1970s. The course is characterized by its wide, sweeping fairways, mature tree-lined holes, and impeccably maintained greens. Its proximity to the 13th-century castle ruins adds a majestic and historic atmosphere to a round that is both technical and aesthetically pleasing.
