Bonville Golf Resort (Summer)

Overview: Bonville Golf Resort is a resort course located near Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, widely referred to as the Augusta National of Australia. Designed by Terry Watson and Ted Stirling, the layout is carved out of subtropical rainforest and stands of flooded gum trees. The course features undulating fairways, streams, and manicured landscaping, providing complete isolation on each hole.

History: Opened in 1992, the resort was developed to offer a luxury golf and dining destination on the Coffs Coast. Stirling and Watson utilized the natural forest hills to route the holes through the valley, avoiding parallel fairways. The course has hosted the Australian Ladies Classic and other professional tournaments.

Did You Know? Each hole is bordered by mature white-barked flooded gums that rise over thirty meters high, creating a natural cathedral-like setting that blocks out the wind and external noise.
