Overview: Cypress is the 18-hole private course at Bonita Bay East in Naples. The Tom Fazio design is listed at 7,077 yards and works through water, tree corridors, and broad, strategically shaped fairways characteristic of the East campus.
History: Ryan Golf records the Cypress course as completed in 1997. Tom Marzolf and Fazio Design then led an 18-month renovation; the course reopened in 2022 after hurricane-related delays to the project schedule.
Did You Know? The Cypress renovation added six new lakes and raised playing areas to improve drainage and strategy. Those changes were part of a larger effort to make the course play more distinctly from its original routing while retaining the Fazio foundation.
