Boca West Country Club (Palmer I)

Overview: Palmer I is one of the four private Boca West Country Club courses in Boca Raton. Arnold Palmer designed the original par-72 routing, while the current club page lists a tee range up to 6,838 yards and describes a course built around lakes, fairway corridors, and paspalum playing surfaces.

History: Palmer I opened in 1997. Boca West has begun another redesign program with Fry-Straka in 2026, so the current course is in a period of change and older club material may show a longer pre-redesign yardage of about 7,200 yards.

Did You Know? Palmer I is one of four separate 18-hole courses at Boca West, alongside Fazio I, Fazio II, and Dye I. The course name identifies the architect and exact routing rather than the club's full 72-hole facility.
