Blumisberg Golf & Country Club

History: Founded in 1959, Blumisberg was created as a private sporting sanctuary for its members. Von Limburger, who was the dominant European golf architect of the post-war era, routed the holes to fit organically into the pre-existing glacial moraine topography, minimizing artificial land alteration. The course has hosted multiple national amateur championships and remains a classic model of Swiss golf architecture.
