Overview: Bloomfield Hills Country Club is a wooded Michigan course with a two-stage architectural history. Tom Bendelow’s early layout and Harry S. Colt’s later expansion created a parkland course of mature trees, rolling ground, and carefully shaped playing corridors.
History: The club was founded in 1909 and its original 18-hole course was designed by Tom Bendelow in 1911. After an additional 50 acres were acquired, Harry S. Colt designed the expanded course, which opened for play in 1915.
