Overview: Bleik Golfstrømbane is a coastal links course situated in the village of Bleik on the island of Andøya, well above the Arctic Circle in northern Norway. Operated by Sportsklubben Høken, the 9-hole layout plays across sandy terrain right along the shoreline, offering views of the Norwegian Sea, rugged cliffs, and the bird sanctuary on Bleiksøya island. The course's high-latitude location is warmed by the Gulf Stream, creating a microclimate that prevents the soil from freezing and extends the playing season from May through October.
Did You Know? The course is built on a natural sand reserve that provides exceptional natural drainage, meaning it rarely has standing water even after heavy coastal storms. Players can enjoy continuous rounds under the summer midnight sun, as the course remains open twenty-four hours a day during peak season.
